Thirty Five - Pink Fluffy Balls

Its amazing what you can find in some scrub in the middle of a roundabout... This beautiful flower caught my eye on the way out of Kings Park on Wednesday and with that colour and that texture, I couldn't help but crouch on the road to take a photo. Not something I'd recommend on a busy road but I figure in this spot cars go slow and its not like they would be able to say they didn't see me if they hit me, my hair kind of makes me like a human red light... If you'd like a different view of the beautiful Boab tree in the background of my wide shot, check out my Mum's post here.

  8. There's just something about red! But I think you know that! 'Tis a gorgeous flower and the boab tree is rather spectacular, too, as it is unknown in these parts.

  9. That's why I love junk shops. Never know what 'beauty' someone has thrown to the curb.

  10. The colour of the flower glows like a neon. I guess it's a good idea to have such a flower in the middle of a roundabout.
