Thirty Four - Parasols in the Park

I have a very good friend who refuses to walk anywhere in the hot summer sun without her parasol. It might seem a bit much but her skin is incredibly soft so apparently its worth it. The lady in the photo below going for a stroll in Kings Park seems to have the same idea. And considering how hot it was, it certainly seems smart!

  1. When it starts to rain, do they turn into umbrellas? Really, I need to know this.

  2. The scene is so nicely framed by the branches of the tree. Smart to keep out of that sun, as I have paid for my youthful times on the beach with the after-effects.

  3. You see more and more people using umbrellas here in the summer sun!

  4. No doubt your friend will appreciate her parasol habit in her later years, when her skin is still silky smooth.

  8. Love the ragged textures in your macro. And the park walkway looks as if it has a lovely water view.
