Twenty Nine - ALLONS-Y!

So spoiler alert, just in case anyone didn't know, I'm a massive geek. And in light of that, today was a very very good day. The Doctor Who Symphonic Spectacular hit Perth for the first time today and you know I was all over that! Hosted by the charming fifth Doctor Peter Davison and featuring the WA Symphony Orchestra, conductor Ben Foster and soprano Antoinette Halloran it certainly was an excellent show. I feel a Doctor Who marathon may be in my near future....

  1. I have to admit, Doctor Who baffles me- it seems one of those things that you'd completely be lost if you tried to jump in. I saw enough of one episode involving being at the end of time and a woman who was reduced to a patch of skin to have wondered, "what kind of drugs are the writers taking?"

  2. All the extraordinary colours of Dr Who set to symphony? That would have to be an amazing experience. I know I would love it. Going by your beautiful images, a light show was involved too. Hope there are more shots of this event.

  3. There was a DR Who marathon on one of our TV stations over the holidays - fabulous. I still think David Tennant is my favourite Dr.

  5. David Tennant was also my favorite Dr. Who, but Peter Davidson was also good. What fun. Great that you got a photo of a Dalek, those clever, but single minded aliens.
