Eighty Nine - Unexpected Artwork

Even when I'm not looking for them I stumble across awesome pieces of artwork nowadays! Today I ventured slightly further afield than usual on my lunch break and walked over to East Perth to meet some friends. As I hurried my way back to the office after what may have been slightly too long away from the desk I came across this piece by Indonesian artist Eko Nugroho. I feel like this view is not our little city's best side, but I enjoyed this splash of colour against an otherwise pretty dull skyline.

  9. Street art intrigues me. It seems to reach for an extra bit of creative dimension not quite achievable on canvas. This one is a beauty and does relieve a dulllish setting.
