2/2016 - Seashells and sunburn

I do hope you won't get sick of beach photos but at this time of the year I just can't keep myself away! Usually I'm there pretty early in the morning though - with my ridiculously pale skin I simply can't hang out too much in the hot hot sun... as evidenced by the insane sunburn that I copped while taking these photos! Gotta love those awkward tan lines!

  1. Pictures of the beach and sunny days at this time of year are welcome! I do think the snow is pretty, but I can still dream of warmer days... :)

  6. I would love to be there, strolling the sand with you and your mother. After just having surgery to remove a basel cell carcinoma, I cannot emphasise enough, AimmIcakes, use strong SUNSCREEN!! WEAR A BROADBRIMMED HAT; don't worry they are all ugly but they do the trick. . .add some ribbons and flowers.

  7. You do have some beautiful beaches upon which to wander and collect sea shells. It's been quite warm here also but we're about 1 1/2 hours from the beach so don't get there too often. Sunscreen is important. We have a lot of skin cancer in Florida. In fact I had a cancer on my arm a few years back. Got it in time and never had a problem since. Nice to hear from you again!

  8. I don't think I could ever get tired of beach photos so snap away. I too have (as you put it) ridiculously pale skin. So, I too have to be careful being out in it for very long.

  12. Always enjoy your beach photos. Keep up the good work. But take care of that skin. Sunburns can do serious damage. Sunblock should always be at hand.

  13. I'm an early morning beach person, mainly because I don't like the squish of holiday crowds. Lovely shells.
