It was a brisk 2 degrees Celsius this morning when Pappa and I headed out to Kalamunda for a hike. It's been a few weeks between hikes so it was nice to get back out into nature. I've had a hell of a week at work, so today was exactly what I needed - fresh air in the morning and the couch and the latest season of Game of Thrones in the afternoon. It was all dewdrops and beautiful lighting so I think you'll be getting nature shots for a few days!
Brave of you to go hiking with the early morning cold weather! I had to leave home at 7,30 on Saturday and it was 5C and I wish I was warm in bed rather.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos Aimee.
Sounds like a perfect photo opportunity to me. I love nature shots!
ReplyDeleteNothing like a brisk hike to set things right.
ReplyDeleteLovely captures, Aimee!! I agree with Michelle, nothing like a brisk hike to set things right indeed!! Thanks for sharing the fun and you are brave to hike on a cold winter morning, but with out hot summer temps lately, it sounds great!!!
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous, Aimee!
ReplyDeleteHope your head is cleared of stress now, Aimee!
ReplyDeleteNature is the best medicine for weary minds and spirits. When I can't seem to help myself minimise stress, I just take a walk. Amazing how that suddenly relieves anxieties. Love these highlights of your walk.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics, and great you two can enjoy this together. I was never close to my Dad.
ReplyDeleteThose are temps I'd like about now. Beautiful shots!
ReplyDeleteBrrr that is a little cold. Love your pod shots. I am so glad I came across your blog.
