Over the weekend we popped into the art gallery at the Central Tafe to check out the 'Revealed' exhibition (see Mum's post here). The exhibition featured some amazing works of art, but I left the taking of photos inside up to Mum - I always feel a little bit awkward taking photos inside a gallery, as if I might be doing something wrong... But just outside the official exhibition I happened upon this piece constructed out of strips of cardboard. The eyes freak me out a tad but it is quite clever!
Oh, yes!! The eyes freak me out as well, but what a great shot, Aimee!! Hope you have a wonderful new week!! Enjoy -- camera in hand, of course!!
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing, actually. I'd love to know how it was made!
ReplyDeleteMe! But never this one, wow, what a creative genius at work.
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThat is pretty cool!
ReplyDeleteCreative and done in a nice way.
ReplyDeleteI actually like the SMILE as long as it is not from the real one:)
The use of cardboard strips is quite interesting. I also feel a bit intimidated taking photos inside Museums or art galleries.
ReplyDeleteThe eyes are a little freaky as are the teeth!
ReplyDeleteVery beautyful , and impressive ..
ReplyDeleteI feel self-conscious when taking photos inside of places like that, too! The wolf is quite awesome.
ReplyDeleteWay too cool! :-)
ReplyDeleteWorking in Wolfsburg I´m not really afraid - but the eyes... freaky, I agree!
